Best Moment!
Over the past year, im sure ive had many great moments, but the one that comes to mind first, is the day i made LC girls varsity soccer team as a freshie(:
It was a hot friday in the summer of 2011. The day we found out what team we made. It had been a long and tireless week, soccer for 4 hours a day, 2 hours in the AM and 2 in the PM. I was more then ready for the results. They would be posted at 6pm sharp, therefore i arrived to LC at 7pm. I didnt know what to expect, ive played soccer my whole life and i gave it 110% all 4 days.
I approached the lists for JV and Varsity with my parents by my side and my heart beating out of my chest. To be honest, i looked at the JV roster first, but my parents believed in me more then i did and they noticed my name on varsity right away.
My mom started cheering and my dad started taking pictures, but i just stood there, too happy to move.
After a few minutes it finally started sinking in and all i could say was, "im on varsity, i get to letter!"
And that was my best moment<3
